| Foto 1 Aplicar la primera de las capas de esmalte. En este caso hemos utilizado esmalte negro. Es muy importante aplicar contraesmalte. Foto 2 y 3 Colocar la lámina de plata sobre la superficie esmaltada y hornear Foto 4 Aplicar la segunda de las capas de esmalte sobre la lámina de plata. Nosotros hemos utilizado esmalte azul transparente, pero pueden elegirse otros colores. Foto 5 Esmalte azul transparente horneado. Foto 6 Colocar la segunda lámina de plata sobre la superficie esmaltada y hornear Repetir en forma sucesiva los pasos 4 – 5 y 6, cuatro o cinco veces mas. Foto 7, 8 y 9 Con una piedra abrasiva d e grano fino vamos desgastando las distintas capas. Podemos utilizar piedras de distintas formas y tamaños para lograr el efecto buscado. Vamos eligiendo si descubrimos todos o solo algunos de los colores utilizados en los distintos sectores que desgastaremos. Finalmente lavar muy bien para eliminar cualquier resto de piedra en el esmalte y hornear para abrillantar Foto 10 La pieza terminada. |

Apply the first of the layers of enamel. In this case we have used black enamel. It is very important to enamel the back face. Photo 2 Place the silver foil sheet on the enameled surface. Photo 3 Burnish the silver foil sheet on the enameled surface and fire. Photo 4 Apply the second layer of enamel over the silver foil sheet. We have used transparent blue enamel; other colors can be chosen. Photo 5 Blue transparent enamel has been applied to the top of the silver foil and fired. Photo 6 Place the second silver foil sheet on the enameled surface and fire. Repeat steps 4 through 6; four or five more times. Photo 7, 8 and 9 With a fine grit abrasive stone, wear away the different layers. One can use stones in different ways and sizes to achieve various effects. You can choose if you want to discover all or some of the colors that have been used in the different sectors that you will stone away. Finally glass brush and rinse very well to eliminate any stoning residue in the enamel, and fire to luster. Photo 10 The piece finished |

| Esta técnica consiste en la aplicación sucesiva de láminas de plata, intercalando los colores de esmaltes entre ellas para luego desgastar por sectores y descubrir cada uno de los colores utilizados en las distintas capas. |
| The technique consists on the successive application of silver sheets, changing the colors of enamels among them, and then to wear away sectors, and discover each one of the colors used in the different layers. |
